The National Basketball Player's Association (NBPA) unveiled and confirmed the launch of their first ever Basketball Players Awards. These awards will be presented in Las Vegas this July. The awards will be voted on by the NBA's active players, keeping up with the recent trend of identifying excellence through the eyes of peers. Many players have voiced their desire to recognise their peers and the first ever Basketball-Players Awards will provide them with that opportunity.
