Ghost Dog
[Rap Critic: spoken]
Wait, what are you thinking?
You're not gonna do what I think you're gonna do, are you?
Kyle, you fool! There's no way you can make this look good!

[Oancitizen]
I check it

I know I ain't good at the rhyme scheme
But all the underlying themes call for a rap tune
And so it seems
I'm-a be rappin' about the aesthetic of Ghost Dog
And again, I'm new
So if it's crappy, then sorry
But here in my pretentious film safari
Here's a gem of a film I spied
Like Mata Hari

Now Jim Jarmusch
His films are all garnished with cross-culture characters
That gives it all the varnish of a melting pot
American dream, cooking, piping hot
Culture mixture meshing involving
And so they gotta kind of mixed identity
Cause America's an entity
Made up of not one but many
Like E pluribus unum
And Forest Whitaker's character with the bird
Shows a mix of Afro-Asian culture
Just like the Mafia
That's centered from the stock of the Italians
But still to quote the rhymes of hip-hop
So you see
It's a fable, put some minced meat on the table
About America's conglomerate soul
It'd still be able to blast couple gats
Leave some bodies falling flat
Like your pop will get popped

I don't think that
This is too dense and its subject immense
So break down the mental barriers
And go over the fence
So open up your eyes
Give Ghost Dog a try
That's all for this episode
Of Brows Held High

[Instrumental's original Chorus plays over credits]
Cash rules everything around me
CREAM, get the money
Dollar, dollar bill y'all
Cash rules everything around me
CREAM, get the money
Dollar, dollar bill y'all
