Omaha, Sunday March 22nd, 1908. Hello Grandfather, Grandmother, and Grace. This is Roy. I have come to Uncle Ralph's with John and Helen and Ruth to hear the records from father and mother at Oakland. We are all glad to know that the Sunderlands in Oakland have been having a fine time during the last 2 weeks. We have in Omaha have been as well as we could be and as happy as is possible when father and mother are gone. I have quiet enjoyed my own experiences as father of the flock. John- I have been with John & Helen & Ruth on the last 2 Sundays to church. I was told that I needed only a wife to make the picture complete. Since the folks returned this week, however, I shall do nothing right in my efforts to live up to an artistic ideal. John will speak next. This is John [?] right here as in California.
