Softly Falling Snow
Against the nights black cold, flakes swirl and tumble
Outside my bedroom window
Silently and still, the world seems to slumber
Under softly falling snow

The night gets cold, but the night gets even colder
For those who have no place to go
No gloves, no coats, no trees with candle holders
In the softly falling snow

The mice move in and settle in the walls
And folks dwell high and low
Some wield the lights, others will crumble
In the softly falling snow

Against the nights black cold, flakes swirl and tumble
Outside my bedroom window
Silently and still, thе world seems to slumber
Under softly falling snow
