Unedited audio of a bull elk

[Unknown]
I wanna show you something
There, do you see it?
A bull elk, amazing
A camera would never do it justice, trust me, but I wanted you to see this
I think there's a crack in the glass...
I still remember the first time I saw one, there's nothing like it in the world
Standing there, in the flesh
And when it sees you, there's something in that moment that sticks with you
It's one of those things, where you just don't forget
Ah, like, you see those antlers?
Believe it or not, they shed them every year, and start all over
But, everything they go through, every crack, chip, and jagged edge, is recorded in those horns
Every challenge, every growth, every fracture tells a story of endurance, of survival
And then, all at once, they let go
Their antlers break away
They begin again, but, they don't forget
It makes you think, back then, I used to say my jaw could be made of glass
I guess that means something different to me now
Did you hear that?
If you were standing here with me, you would not believe it
You can feel it in your chest, ringing, like thunder...
Don't you hear it ringing?
It's like it awakens something in you, or dismantles, I don't know
But if you sit there in it, surrender to it, to the void it leaves behind -
I swear, it's like being reborned
I know, it's been a while since we talked, but do you ever feel that way?
Like there's something inside you, some part of you, changing, but you don't even know it?
Or maybe by the time you know, it's already changed
I don't know, standing here, I think there's an elk in all of us
You go through life, everything it has to throw, trying to learn your way around, the whole time taking blows, praying you never collapse
You crack, you fracture, and you think it's a death sentence but it's not, it's just part of the story
What can't kill you isn't worth your time!
And dead men have no tales to tell
Even if you're moving slow, you pick your body up
You keep up your chin, and you stride uphill to replace and transition
With an unstable border, cracks and all, after a life of suffering and everything you've endured, you're not gonna die for nothing
So you fight, you brace yourself for every onslaught, every stone and spear, every hand that hopes to find your path
And even though nothing is guaranteed, eventually -
[Aries]
You reach the top of the hill...
You catch your breath, reflect
You see the fractures for what they are
What might be hard to recognize until you look past what's right beside you
Dreams don't feel the same
You break the seal, break through the illusion, you start to see yourself in the cracks
You fold up your heart to heal, and then, finally -
You disappear, you wake up, the antlers fall away
What's going on right now? Have I said too much?
