With her precious nest hidden far from the world
Her sadness and fear bred hatred for that bird
Eagle sang songs, so bright, sharp and strange...

And to prove who was righteous she'd gather the Eyes

Night never sleeps, no it's never at ease

To guard the land hidden beneath crooked trees

An Eagle has come here! He challenged our Night!

"Don't let him think for a moment that we
Stand aside for a stranger and cower and flee!"
