I've known Mick Moloney since his early days with the Irish folk group, The Johnstons. His wonderful rendition of this song about a political boss captures the joy and pride of the Irish as they started to make their way in the New World. I followed it with another joyful tune my grandfather, a flute player, taught me as a child
