‘Power & Control" is a song about relationships and how there’s always a power struggle. I feel in the relationships that I’ve had, one person or the other wants the upper hand and I find that interesting, how in any relationships really, it’s quite rare for both people to feel equal and I guess that’s when it’s right, when both people don’t feel that one’s the weak one or the strong one. so that's what it's about
