Primadonna is the first single of Electra Heart. It picked itself as the first single really, I couldn’t have gone with anything else and I knew when I got the idea to write it, that it would hopefully change my career. I think I just thought of the title one night before I went to bed and I wrote it down and then about two months later I wrote it. And really it’s about wanting to be number one, and not necessarily anything to do with my career, but just with regards to being with someone. I think evеryone knows a "Primadonna", or has been with one, or is one, bеcause I think every girl has a bit of that in them, "The brat"
