He took the ultimate plunge from living as One / Father / Spirit and Son / to live in the slums and dwelling amongst His venomous sons / but where He was from He was royal amongst royalty / hung up the stars and sun He's the Lord of the world's ordering / and even though He's of great position He's still submissive / the Father sends Him and off He enters into His mission / that's Christ walking in hupotasso don't get it twisted / just like a soldier enlisted plays His position listen / He condescended and entered into this world in a set of conditions that would just probably make you hurl / He did it all to serve us though we have not deserved Him / He walked the earth and served His brethren that would all desert Him / and some would plot to hurt Him / He carried an awesome burden / to quench the flames of hell's fire so His flock ain't burning / what an anomaly that in our God's economy humiliation and exaltation ain't such a dichotomy / so it should not confuse you when Jesus said that the greatest isn't one that's sitting at the table but who served the plate up / cause at the heart of the issue He's tryna get you to live your life in His likeness in other words sacrifical / Jesus got low to come to earth and got the boot but now ascended at the right hand of the Father we salute / and if you think that was a twist to the plot then how it sounds / we get low to get a crown and get a crown to lay it down /
