It's not hard to be
Loving and kind
When I realize
I been shown grace by Jesus Christ
It’s not hard to be
Good and faithful
Knowing with God
He saved me a seat at his table

It's really easy
The way God leads me
To greener pastures
I pity those
Who are hating scumbags
And malicious bastards
I know love is the answer
The title of an outcast
Isn't too burdensome or heavy
When I believe that God is setting
Me up for glory in the heavens
When the street looks toward me as a reverend
When I realize I’m considered worthy
Nothing you can say to me can hurt me
When I realize I'm selected by God
I don't stress over obstacles and stumbling blocks
I been given too much
And I know I'll be given more
That's why
The hate, and slander, and malice
Have been quite easy for me to ignore
I enjoy turning the other cheek
I love that God uses the week
I love that God taught me his precepts
And that falsehood, and lies aren't what I seek
I don't need company
To go out with every Friday night
I don't need the praise of men
Or the accolades or to constantly be in the limelight
I show mercy, I show grace
Because I know mankind
Has to submit to the devil’s rat race
So I face the evil, depression, with compassion
Combat the hate in a holy fashion
Not only for the reward, but for the sake of others
I’m a lover, cause I been given the best kind of love
It's not hard to be loving when you been shown love from the God above
