It was a song I wrote and rewrote and rewrote for years. That song drove me crazy, but I love it. Like, I knew it was just this gem of a song, but I just couldn't crack the code of how to write it, and I was just never happy with it. So I wrote it over and over and over and always hated it. And then one night, I just erased all the lyrics I had and started from scratch and told a really honest, true story about me falling in love, sitting outside a 7-Eleven, drinking wine on the sidewalk. And now that one's, you know, one of my favorite songs on the record because it's like, it's a love song, which sometimes I have a hard time being nice. But I just stopped trying to sound like a badass and just wrote a love song because that's what it was.
