Do you ever see a picture from years ago and think:
"Wow, how'd I change in such a blink?"
I feel like I've been three totally different people living in the same body
The first person was an athlete
Since I was able to walk, I could also skate
In Elementary School I was training twenty hours a week to be a professional athlete
A tennis player and a hockey goalie, specifically, and I got pretty damn close with hockey
The next is a business man, the life I was born into
To be honest, probably what would havе come was natural
My family's been in the car industry since my dad's dad startеd selling cars in the sixties in Hamilton, Ontario
I know how a car dealership runs, top to bottom
It's in my blood
Around this time is when I started playing music, which birthed the third person: an artist
Probably the biggest shocker in my whole life was learning I could write a song
I bought a guitar, I learned one cover song, it was "Third Engine" by Say Anything
I started messing with the cords, and like a ghost took over my body
I wrote my first song in fifteen minutes
I knew right away of my three lives, this one grabbed me the most
Like they say happens when you meet the love of your life
You just know
